Tokyo Tower is a popular tourist spot that is said to be visited by approximately 200 million people annually, and is loved by many people in Japan and abroad.
Built in 1958 as a radio tower with an observation deck, Tokyo Tower achieved 5 million visitors in its first year of operation. In 1967, a special observation deck (now the Top Deck) was installed. The area around Tokyo Tower became famous as a sightseeing spot.
At 333 meters tall, Tokyo Tower is the second tallest structure in Japan after the Tokyo Sky Tree®.

Famous as one of the oldest parks in Japan, The Prince Park Tower Tokyo has several areas recommended for photographing Tokyo Tower, including a plaza and a temple in the park. The plaza we visited this time offers a panoramic view of the night sky and Tokyo Tower. The contrast between the blue sky, green grass, and Tokyo Tower is very beautiful during the daytime. 2, Zojoji Temple
This temple has a 600-year history and is associated with the Tokugawa family. The temple is the only structure that retains the appearance of the early Edo period and is designated as a National Important Cultural Property. The temple is known for its “win luck” (to lead everything in an excellent direction), and is said to be good for examinations and competitions. In addition to the collaboration of the historical building and Tokyo Tower, you can take pictures with the Cherry Blossom Lane in spring.

3, Atago Shrine
Like Zojoji Temple, this shrine is associated with the Tokugawa family. The shrine is located at the top of Mt. Atago, 26 meters above sea level. You can worship at the front of this shrine by ascending the Otokozaka (Succession Stairway) through the bright red Otorii (Grand Gate). The impressive Otorii and the long staircase are popular photo spots. You can also savor the rich nature of Japan’s four seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, coolness of dense trees and a chorus of cicadas in summer, the moon and autumn leaves in fall, and snowy landscapes in winter.

4,Mori Building Digital Art Museum (TeamLab)
TeamLab is very popular both in Japan and abroad. In February 2024, TeamLab and Mori Building jointly opened a digital art museum in Azabudai Hills.
TeamLab has further developed the borderless fantastic space and artworks by using approximately 560 Epson projectors that maintain high image quality and 540 Epson PCs that achieve high performance. You can experience it for yourself.
I recommend this tourist spot on the day you are going to visit Tokyo Tower or on a rainy day.
